Over the years, Malik Supply became a part of the Malik Group and has developed its core markets through strong partnerships worldwide in key bunker areas. Malik Group has a physical supply division in Denmark under the brand Malik Energy.

Joining a skilled bunker trading team

As a Bunker Trader Trainee at Malik, you'll become part of a well-established trading team with a wealth of experience and enthusiasm for bunker trading. Upon joining our team, we'll provide you with the appropriate training in the industry. A mentor within the trading team will lead your learning journey, offering detailed insights into the industry. Your tasks will involve understanding market dynamics, developing relationships, and expanding sourcing channels.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating with local ports and supply agents to facilitate deliveries
• Servicing clients and suppliers in line with our service credo
• Acquiring new accounts and maintaining existing customer relationships
• Responding to customer requirements, negotiating prices, and finalizing deals

The ideal candidate

As our newest Bunker Trader Trainee, you have completed HHX or a similar business education. Alternatively, you possess a relevant background in business or sales, preferably in shipping, though this isn't mandatory. Crucially, you should excel in sales with a strong determination to succeed.

Additionally, you:

• Are sociable and proactive in sales interactions
• Display ambition and high energy levels
• Demonstrate an interest in global affairs
• Can speak and write in English fluently
