Are you intrigued by bunker trading and wants to be part of a successful company in energy trading? We're in search of a dynamic, experienced, and committed Bunker Trader to join our Malik team in Greece.

Malik Supply A/S was founded in 1989 as an independent Danish company to undertake the growing bunkering and energy trading business. Over the years, Malik Supply became a part of Malik Group and has developed its core markets through strong partnerships worldwide in key bunker areas. Malik Group has a physical supply division in Denmark under the brand Malik Energy.

Presently, our organization comprises a diverse team of over 80 employees around the world and is recognized for its qualifications across various accreditations from ISO and ISCC. Looking ahead, our focus remains on advancing towards a more sustainable future in the maritime industry.

The bunker trading team

As a Bunker Trader at Malik, you'll join a highly experienced and professional local trading team that is well-established in the field of bunker trading. We expect that your onboarding will be facilitated by the Malik organization and offer you a warm welcome. Your primary tasks will involve understanding market dynamics, developing relationships, and expanding sourcing channels.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating with local ports and supply agents to facilitate deliveries.
• Spotting business opportunities and supporting business development initiatives.
• Acquiring new accounts and maintaining existing customer relationships.
• Responding to customer requirements, negotiating prices, and finalizing deals.
  
  

The ideal candidate

As our new colleague, you previous have worked as a bunker trader or have a relevant business education. Alternatively, you possess a relevant background in business or sales, preferably in shipping, though this isn't mandatory. Crucially, you should excel in sales with a strong determination to succeed. You must be eligible to live and work in Athens, Greece.

Additionally, you:

• Are willing to travel a minimum of 20 days per year.
• Are sociable and proactive in sales interactions.
• Display ambition and high energy levels.
• Thrive from the “round-the-clock” lifestyle of trading/shipping.
• Are fluent in written and spoken English and Greece.
